About Lil Legends
Lil Legends is located in beautiful Southern California's San Diego County. We started our mousery in 2008 with the GOAL to create friendlier and healthier mice. Also to breed beautiful mice in all my favorite varieties. My mice will ALWAYS be my pets first and foremost. Lil Legends currently consists of 22 happy, healthy AMERICAN mice & 2 happy, healthy ENGLISH mice. My love for mice will continue to grow every day I share my life with them and I cant wait to see how things fall into play.
About The Breeder
My name is Dru Van Dyke, I am 18 years old and I have owned mice since I was 8 years old and I have always had a special bond with them. Sun sign Virgo, being the ruler of small animals, has pushed me to own all kinds of animals small and big. I am an animal lover all around, also raising American Bullies, Rats, & Rabbits. Growing up I had all kinds of animals; rabbits, cavies, mice, rats, ducks, cats, dogs, lizards, a horse. I couldn't get enough and I loved tending to my little zoo. I have wanted to become a DVM since I could walk and talk and I intend on putting my dreams into reality. I have many hobbies, my main hobby being my love for animals. My attention is now set on my mousery, LLM. I will be the best I can be, I am me.
About The Mousery
Lil Legends uses Lab Cages & Glass Tanks for housing. Each cage is equipt with a food dish, water bottle, nest box, and much more. Lil Legends uses Harlan Teklad Shredded Aspen as bedding and uses only solid floor cages. Each cage has a tag attached to the front, indicating the residents. All of our mice enjoy a healthy diet of Harlan Teklad Lab Blocks, plus daily fresh Fruits & Vegetables. Lil Legends mice play in the play ground pool everyday for hours, which makes them happier, healthier, more social animals. Some of our mice enjoy roaming the house in the exercise ball or like to just perch on your shoulder. Below is a picture of a few of our lab cages. CAGE TAGS ARE ESSENTIAL!
